U2 Song Countdown Part 5 (15-1)
This month, I am looking at my personal ranking of U2 songs, based on the conversation I had with my son a while back. Eventually I might do a few essays on some of these songs, but here I might just occasionally give my typical one-line thought:

Beauty defies violence.
14. “God Part II” (Rattle and Hum)
A rejection of idols, lies, and the world’s offerings.
13. “Beautiful Day” (All That You Can’t Leave Behind)
Again, this life is a beautiful gift despite the way we’ve messed it up.
12. “Yahweh” (How to Dismantle an Atomic Band)
A prayer of surrender.
11. “Magnificent” (No Line on the Horizon)

Unconditional love.
