Sashay

look at the way he walks
how can that feel any good?
rolling on the outside edge
wearing down the side of his shoe
truth is it hurts quite a bit
but worse is the inside joint
no padding, bone on bone
without walking what is the point?
you have to get to where you are needed
so, the pain… it goes unheeded
just call his limp a strut
his own little sashay unimpeded
