U2 Song Countdown Part 1 (75-61)

Over the next month, I am looking at my personal ranking of U2 songs, based on the conversation I had with my son a while back. Eventually I might do a few essays on some of these songs, but here I might just occasionally give my typical one-line thought:

75. ā€œThe Wandererā€ (Zooropa)
Not a huge fan of Cash, but I like U2’s collaborations.

74. ā€œWild Honeyā€ (All That You Can’t Leave Behind)
A nice silly love song.

73. ā€œAnother Time, Another Placeā€ (Boy)

72. ā€œSome Days Are Better Than Othersā€ (Zooropa)
The title says it all.

71. ā€œTwilightā€ (Boy)

70. ā€œRaised by Wolvesā€ (Songs of Innocence)

69. ā€œDiscothequeā€ (Pop)
I did not love the Zooropa album when it came out, and Pop was only a bit better. Both have grown on me though.

68. ā€œSilver and Goldā€ (Rattle and Hum)
Rattle and Hum was my introduction to U2.

67. ā€œLemonā€ (Zooropa)

65. ā€œNo Line On the Horizonā€ (No Line On the Horizon)

64. ā€œLandladyā€ (Songs of Experience)

63. ā€œMiracle Drugā€ (How to Dismantle and Atomic Bomb)

62. ā€œYou’re the Best Thing About Meā€ (Songs of Experience)
I am at the right stage of life for this album.

61. ā€œNumbā€ (Zooropa)
I don’t know why I like this song so much.
