U2 Song Countdown Part 1 (75-61)

Over the next month, I am looking at my personal ranking of U2 songs, based on the conversation I had with my son a while back. Eventually I might do a few essays on some of these songs, but here I might just occasionally give my typical one-line thought:

75. “The Wanderer” (Zooropa)
Not a huge fan of Cash, but I like U2’s collaborations.

74. “Wild Honey” (All That You Can’t Leave Behind)
A nice silly love song.

73. “Another Time, Another Place” (Boy)

72. “Some Days Are Better Than Others” (Zooropa)
The title says it all.

71. “Twilight” (Boy)

70. “Raised by Wolves” (Songs of Innocence)

69. “Discotheque” (Pop)
I did not love the Zooropa album when it came out, and Pop was only a bit better. Both have grown on me though.

68. “Silver and Gold” (Rattle and Hum)
Rattle and Hum was my introduction to U2.

67. “Lemon” (Zooropa)

65. “No Line On the Horizon” (No Line On the Horizon)

64. “Landlady” (Songs of Experience)

63. “Miracle Drug” (How to Dismantle and Atomic Bomb)

62. “You’re the Best Thing About Me” (Songs of Experience)
I am at the right stage of life for this album.

61. “Numb” (Zooropa)
I don’t know why I like this song so much.
