His fingerprints
His ordinance is

His testaments can be
Counted on and
Principles are the best
Correction

His instructions inspire
Pure amazement
His traditions are
Protection

(Notes from 9/19/1998)

This is just one place in the bible among many where nature is used to show God. Creation is evidence of His existence. But God is not seen in creation as just a higher being or an energy. Any God who created a world life exists, and then sustains it is a loving God.

Update:

Additionally, the free will we are given, despite the way that it enables us to reject God and perpetuate evil, is also evidence of God’s love. People think a loving God would not allow wrong. But real love is not controlling. We have to be able to reject God to also be able to love Him. Choice is key. Freedom is required.

That is why this Psalm doesn’t just stop with creation. Revelation, God’s love and instruction, is what we need to love God. The good of God to our bad.
