“A Liturgy, a Legacy, & the Songs of Rich Mullins (Live)
I have long ago made a cop-out chronological list of some of my favorite Albums. I probably need to update it it’s been so long. However, if you were to pin me down and force me to pick a favorite album of all time across all genres and eras… (What a torturous and sadistic thing that would be to do!) …I would certainly consider Rich Mullins’s 1992 album, “A Liturgy, a Legacy, & and a Ragamuffin Band.” It is some of the best poetry, music, message, and theology ever assembled into a piece of art.
Apparently, many others feel the same way. Andrew Peterson recently gathered a bunch of musicians to perform the album in its entirety live, and what an evening that must have been! Thankfully, we can all experience the way it must have been as the recording was released this week. Go listen to it!
