God is not silent
salvation comes

(Notes from 9/14/1998) “Romans 3:23”
“For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.”
“They are all gone aside, they are together become filthy. There is none that doeth good; no not one.”
When I first read this Psalm, I was struck by how negative it was. I was reminded of Noah’s day, when God looked on the earth and found all evil save Noah. Where were the good people? Those that seek God?
Then I remembered Romans, which we are teaching the youth in Sunday School. No one is good! We all have sinned. We all need salvation!
David looks forward in faith to the day when salvation will come with the Messiah. Today we can look back on it and be saved in faith as well.
