Sing Out of Christmas Day 7
Under a star the frost-touched fields
In dead of night a dawn appears
Lowly shepherds shield their eyes
When choirs of angels fill the skies
Singing out of Christmas
Creation had waited ages to hear
As finally now, an end to the fears
They had to see with their own eyes
The miracle and sing out of Christmas
Under a star in manger of hay
In dead of night the newborn lay
Lowly shepherds join the wise
As choirs of angels echo the night
Singing out of Christmas
In dead of night a dawn appears
Lowly shepherds shield their eyes
When choirs of angels fill the skies
Singing out of Christmas
Creation had waited ages to hear
As finally now, an end to the fears
They had to see with their own eyes
The miracle and sing out of Christmas
Under a star in manger of hay
In dead of night the newborn lay
Lowly shepherds join the wise
As choirs of angels echo the night
Singing out of Christmas
